Love Bot
Owen
I just matched with hundreds of beautiful women on FirstSpark. My life can’t get any worse.
I’m the top chemist in the country. I’ve started a multi-billion-dollar business. And for some ridiculous reason, I’ve just been named the city’s most eligible bachelor.
I don’t have the time or desire for a girlfriend. But my meddlesome brother has other plans for my love life. He installs Love Bot on my phone and my carefully constructed life explodes.
The AI program starts communicating with women across the city without my knowledge or consent, seducing them on my behalf.
Now hundreds of women think we’re dating, dozens think I’m in love with them, and six think we’re engaged.
Worse, they’re showing up at my home and place of business.
This is the disaster of the century. Catastrophic. Chernobyl-level of debacle.
I need a solution, so I announce that I’m married.
It’s actually pretty genius.
When lovestruck women come up to me, I’ll put my hand up and say, “No, thank you. I am married with a wife.”
They’ll be forced to leave after that.
Brilliant.
However, I’m spending the weekend in Muskoka with a potential investor and he hears the news.
He wants to meet the lucky lady.
Now I need a real fake wife. Fast.
And I know just the woman to ask…
Faye
This is crazy.
Pretending to be the wife of the most frustrating customer at my coffee shop…
What was I thinking?
Then again, I just ended a disastrous engagement, I’m sleeping on my sister’s couch, and I could use a weekend escape on a billionaire’s private island in Muskoka.
But with Owen of all people?!
He’s like a human computer who was never programmed to smile. A cyborg set on slightly irritated mode. He is always difficult and has the most complicated coffee order known to mankind.
And now I have to pretend to be his wife while women come out of the woodwork thinking they’re in love with him?
How is this my problem again?
And why, between all the pretending, touching, fighting, laughing, and ridiculous lies, am I starting to see a side of Owen I never knew existed?
Even worse...
Why am I starting to wish my fake husband was real?
Love Bot is a laugh-out-loud, fake marriage, opposites attract, full-length standalone romantic comedy with a HEA.
